As may is mental health awareness month and the month is coming to an end it’s time to post about it.
Mental health is a big issue, a lot of people have it and it’s still a topic that is overshadowed. People don’t seem to accept that mental health isn’t something you choose. You are born with it or Out develop it. You do not choose to feel that way. And you can’t easily snip with your finger and everythings fine again.
It takes time, talking and love and support from the ones around you.
There is still much to learn about it and how to treat it.
But the most important thing is to acknowledge it as it is and everyone that is affected by it.
For all those that suffer from mental health:
You are fine the way you are.
You are allowed to feel how you feel and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
You’re not weak.
You are loved by the ones around you and they are there for you when you need them.
