Words are hard.
Or rather thoughts are difficult to put into words.
They can be easily misinterpreted.
Sometimes you write what comes to your mind, and when someone reads it they get a false view.
Maybe because you didn’t choose your words right. And maybe because someone didn’t ‘read between the lines’.
It happened to me that I misinterpreted something I read and now it happened to me that someone else misinterpreted something I wrote.
My post Being a Lady got mistaken by another blogger and somehow I can understand why.
Maybe I could have made more clear why dressing elegantly, being nice, and putting on makeup/doing your hair might have something to do with being a lady and why I didn’t write 200 words + about the defined ways to behave and being taught how to become a lady 😉
All the prepping up is supposed to make you feel good and being confident.
I was taught that if you look good you also feel good. And feeling good is what everyone should aim for.
As I wrote, being a lady is to bring out the best in you so you can be your best for your own sake. Not to make use of the society and the advantages you get from behaving and dressing accordingly.
It’s to give you all the chances to do what you want to do.
And after all, this blog post was just a piece of my opinion with a few steps of how I think one can achieve a ladylike behaviour and appearance.
If someone has anoter opinion that’s fine and I respect it.
The internet is a place full off different opinions and sometimes, when someone speaks their mind they get criticized.
