Dawn of the Day

The moon stands high in a beautiful sky
I dread my sorrow will there be a tomorrow?
All these fears and pains and scars
Endlessly as the beautiful scars
Where is my haven, my shoulder to cry on?
I wonder beneath the light upon
And there a ray of golden light
Nothing in my live has ever been so bright
A hand reaches out, i pause, is this real?
What is this warmth, this unknown feel?
As skin touches skin, the night fades away
And makes room for the bright light of day
His eyes are so green, like Irelands green trees
I hope you won’t leave, stay with me please!
